Our aim is to find solutions which protect your business while maximising employee satisfaction, productivity and profit for your business within the legal constraints. Our Directors are Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and have many years’ experience as CIPD trainers on HR and employment law. Some of our consultants are also Employment Tribunal members who can apply this knowledge in avoiding or reducing expensive claims.
Lesley Thompson FCIPD – Director
Lesley has specialised in the area of employment law throughout her HR career in both strategic and operational roles in the Telecoms sector. As a consultant she has experience of many other sectors including high Tech, IT, Financial, Scientific, Manufacturing, Public and Charitable sectors. In her last employed role As Group HR Director for BT Enterprises, she was a Management Board member responsible for advising managers and the Board on the legal implications of all aspects of Human Resource management including acquisitions and divestments.
Lesley regularly undertakes both grievance and discipline interviews from investigation to appeal, often at Director level, where the company is unable to provide independent managers. She has been an Employment Tribunal non-Legal Member since 1995. She has also worked with Video Arts as the principle adviser on their best selling video on behavioural interviewing techniques.
She was a CIPD consultant and trainer from 1990 until 2013 when she set up her own training company. She currently undertakes an “outsourced” HR director role for a number of SME companies, handling discipline, grievance, sick absence, poor performance, redundancy and dismissal. She has also undertaken complex and high level sensitive investigations for larger organisations including an International assignment for a large Charity.
Gaynar Sitwell FCIPD – Consultant
Gaynar has 30 years HR experience, 25 of which are in Senior Management positions working alongside the Board of Directors to develop and deliver strategic HR.She has worked mainly with SME’s where her she applied commercial acumen to her advice ensuringHR was an integral and value add part of company business.
Gaynar has experience of a wide variety of business sectors including high technology companies, financial services, R & D, manufacturing, property and not for profit.
Her HR and Business experience includes all aspects of HR, employment law and training. Gaynar has particular experience in managing TUPE transfers both as the transferor and transferee, mentoring of an MD and Board members, Psychometric and Ability testing as a holder of a Saville & Holdsworth Level 2 Psychology registration.
